Long Term Causes Of World War One

Long Term Causes World war one is a case of one thing lead to another. Although the fuse to the war was lit it didn’t go off untill the assasination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne. Now the countries didn’t have the best relations with each other, which was also another cause for the war. When Astria-Hungery declared war on Siberia on 28 July 1914 they didn’t count on Russia to come to Siberia’s aid. Both countries had allies that where bound by treaty to come and help them in an event of war. The Assasination That Was The Spark
The assasination took place in Sarajevo. Their death was at the hands of the Black Hand, a Siberian nationalist secret society. The Austria-Hungary empire suspected that the Siberians where at fault for the assassinations and promptly demanded that the assassins be brought to justice effectively. Austria-Hungary suspected that the Siberians would reject the high terms they requested, giving a clear path for them to declare war on Siberia. Which lead to the rest of the countries to join in
