1. ABSTRACT
LTE stands for long term evolution which is used for 4G technology. In 4G technology speed of data is increased up to 100 Mbps for downloading and 50 Mbps for uploading. LTE is advance technology of 3G in which OFDM is used for downloading and SC-FDM is used for uploading of data.
In this paper we are understand that what technology already used for mobile communication and why new technology is necessary? And what is the advantage of LTE over GSM, WCDMA? And what are the industrial benefits? LTE is highly developed for increasing data speed and this works over internet protocol by this IP based services like VOIP is possible.
The evolution of wireless telephone technologies can be discretely grouped into various generations based on the level of maturity of the underlying technology. The classification into generations is not standardized on any given metrics or parameters and as such does not represent a strict demarcation. However, it represents a perspective which is commonly agreed upon, both by industry and academia, and hence conceived to be an unwritten standard. 2. RELEVANCE OF TECHNOLOGY WITH EARLIER TECHNOLOGY
Initially wired communication is established which is known as 0G in which communication is done by wired media
