Long Term Goals

Whenever thinking of my short and long-term goals, five total goals come clearly to my mind. Three of them are short-term goals, and two of them are long-term goals. My first short-term goal is getting a leadership position in Sigma Alpha.There are multiple officer positions, and I want to apply to one. My second short-term goal is to get a job as a Summer Staff member at Gasper River Catholic Youth Camp & Retreat Center. I have volunteered as a counselor for Gasper River in the past, but this year I am applying to be a staff member which means I will be at the camp Sunday through Friday all of the summer watching over the campers and leading them in activities. My third short-term goal is to become a peer mentor for the Agriculture LLP (2017/2018 School Year). If I am offered the position, I will help freshman make the transition into college a smoother process. One of my long-term goals is to own a farm, and house. The other long-term goal is to become an agriculture education professor.

I am majoring in Career and Technical Education and I am double minoring in Animal Science and Family
If you see me around, you will see me smiling or talking to someone. I love communicating and chatting with others. I love meeting new people, and learning more about them. I love putting others at ease during a conversation. Also, I am a positive person to work around. I am a good team player in group projects, and I usually cut out the tension in them. With that being said, having someone in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment who is easy to approach is a good person to have.

If I were to receive a scholarship from the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, it would help me worry less about financials, and help me focus on school more. Receiving a scholarship would set me on track for my short and long-term goals. It would be an amazing blessing and gift to receive a
