Longitudinal Research Essay

If I were a psychologist, I would use the longitudinal and cross sectional method to study social development from early childhood to adolescence by conducting experiments on groups of kids starting from the ages of 5, 10 and 15. Longitudinal research is a research that follows the same group of people for many years. For example, if you got a group of 5 year old children and asked them what toys they play with. They are most likely going to say barbies, toy cars, or legos.
