evil. The environment also plays a big role in the way people behave. Through peers and acquaintances, people act in a certain manner to seem approachable or to create a presentable reputation, which triggers. Most people chase after an image, finding themselves and “understanding the wearisomeness of this life” (Golding 76). In modern day, violence is used as entertainment through video games, action movies, and books, which can release the darkness in many consumers. Through many examples it can be proven that people are inherently evil. Twins fight in the womb in a survival of the fittest situation. More commonly, people have an evil side that grows through, movies, books, and video games. Sigmund Freud, Austrian neurologist, explained, “men are not gentle creatures, who want to be loved, who at the most can defend themselves if they are attacked; they are, on the contrary, creatures among whose instinctual endowments is to be reckoned a powerful share of aggressiveness.”
