Sigh… Pause
How could he let the fire go out too? How? He had one job to watch the fire and keep it going. But he went off and was too busy showing off him killing the stupid pig. A pig. But no, now we lost our chance to go home for that. I can’t believe him. Doesn’t he want to go home to see his family, his parents, and his siblings? I do. He seems to be the only one that understands and likes me. Hopefully, another boat will come by and see us so we can go home. But for now we must first figure out the hostilities between us and Jack. Not just to retain peace from each other but to defend ourselves from the beast as well. Without the hunters we can’t defend ourselves. We don’t know how to use spears or fight. It keeps me up at night thinking what’s out here with us. What lurks in the shadows when we
