Lotteries do provide funds for education. Lotteries have been have been helping out with education for a long time now. Lotteries are good for benefiting education. Sometimes, the money that goes towards schools and education can be a decent sized amount. (Lane). Whenever you buy a lottery ticket, some of that money goes towards the lottery winnings, but some of it goes towards the government.
