III. Areas of Consideration
a. Strengths
i. Location of Louie’s store is located strategically in a populated area near a busy highway. ii. Overall business performance of his store is satisfactory. iii. The customers are pleased with the services they provide. iv. Reasonable pricing and charges.
b. Weaknesses
i. Offensive jokes and misbehaviour of Louie towards his employees and customers. ii. Poor multicultural environment. iii. The manager (Louie) is too arrogant.
c. Opportunities
i. Since the customers are pleased with the services, they will be more encouraged to trust the company and to recommend its services to other potential customers. ii. Mighty Muffler’s pleasing services will boost its profitability. iii. The management might be encouraged to widen their market through opening additional branches.
d. Threats
i. Complaints about Louie’s relationship with the employees and customers, the latter might be discouraged from continuously working for the company and patronizing its services respectively. ii. Competitors that provide the same satisfaction as theirs with a more approachable manager. iii. Ill-tempered, impatient, and/or narrow-minded customers
IV. Alternative Courses of Action
a. Fire Louie and hire a new manager.
