Love and Greatest Accomplishment
Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened

I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst , then you most definitely don't deserve me at my best.

Dance like there's nobody watching, Love like you'll never be hurt, Sing like there's nobody listening, And live like its heaven on earth.

You know your in love when you can't fall asleep because reality if finally better than your dreamsBe yourself, because everyone else is already taken.

Be the change you wish to see in the world.

You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.

Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Don't walk I'm front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend.

If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

A friend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you.

To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to change, is the greatest accomplishment.

Without music, life would be a mistake.

If you don't stand for something you will fall for anything.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it present.

Certainly the term 'family' has raised various debates in the modern society and as evident from the study of different cultures, there is now no clear taxonomy of a family unit. From a functionalists point of view, it is a unit of people bound together either biologically or by legal marriage. To support this theory, Murdock defines it as a group consisting of a sexually active heterosexual couple living with their biological or adopted children.(Haralambos M & Langley P).…

Do on to others, as you would want them to do to you. I think this basic principle or saying is very powerful. If everybody abided by it the world would not have as many problems as it does now. For example people wouldn’t steal because they wouldn’t want their possessions to be stolen or robbed. People wouldn’t kill each other because they wouldn’t want to be killed themselves. This is a saying my parents always drilled into my head ever since I was a few years old and it stuck with me all these years. I try to respect everybody because I like to be respected back. This is the second trait I would like others to remember me…

    Love and Person

    • 4 Pages

Love has a definition—a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person—but yet has so many different meanings. Thesauruscoping demonstrates the different meanings in which the word Love can deliver. The synonym of Love, Adoration, does not necessarily mean that these words have the same meaning. The definition of Adoration is the act of paying honor, as to a divine being or to worship. These words can be isolated from each other by meaning because they are two different descriptions. Love is an emotion and Adoration is a way of acting towards another. For example, there may be someone who loves to go to church every Sunday, being a part of their daily routine, but has adoration for God, meaning to worship and pay honor to what they believe in. The antonym for Love, however, does not have to be opposite but can have the same meaning as Love. An antonym for Love is Jealous meaning inclined to or troubled by suspicions or fears of rivalry, unfaithfulness, as in love or aims. These two words can have the same meaning, for example, a boy and a girl are head-over-heels in love with each other but the boy may have feelings for another person leaving the girl extremely jealous. This demonstrates that jealousy is expressed in love because the girl would not have been jealous unless she undoubtedly loved the boy. Thesauruscoping can show that a meaning of a word can be expressed in many different ways.…

Lastly, the last and final thing I shall never in my life is have no future for myself. I refuse to be a nobody and have a life wasted on nothing. This is my life and I will most definitely live it to the fullest with an education. I want to be a somebody, be remembered for something I did. An education is how you can get absolutely everything in the palm of your fingers. Without an education you make things much harder on yourself. You’d also have to be…

    Love and Marriage

This excerpt from Love and Marriage is a relatable comedy by Bill Cosby that draws people together through relatable experiences. He tells us of his first love Charlene, and how he fell in love with her, she dumped him, and then he went on a mission geared towards revenge. It’s delightfully comical to read his reminiscing and retelling of how clever he thought himself to be. We can all relate in some way to this naïve perception of love. This is how Bill Cosby shows people how much they have in common while emphasizing how hurt pride can lead one to resort to crazy things.…

This paper contains the different definitions of what it means to be a human being and living a good life. In this paper we will take a look at Hobbes and Augustine’s definition of the human being and the good life. Both of these philosophers give examples of what they think the good life is, and the desires of human nature. In this paper I will talk about Augustine and his thought of how in order to live a good life, one needs to seek God to find true happiness. I will also talk about what being a human being and living the good life means to Hobbes, and his thought of how human equality is the ticket to happiness and the good life. I think Augustine offers a more accurate description of the human being and the good life because I agree that true happiness can’t be found in earthly things. I believe there is much more to life than finding happiness and self-worth in success, money, fame, popularity, and etc. Life chasing after materialistic items won’t bring you happiness because you will always feel like there is something more you want and desire, the materialistic items won’t satisfy you.…
