In most cases, students will not have access to their courses until 8 am the first class day. It can take up to 24 hours for your Canvas account to be created after enrolling for a course. A Canvas Student Orientation course is available for all students to become familiar with Canvas and can be accessed under Courses after login.Please use the links below to locate the email address of your online instructor. A student enrolled in an Online course must contact the instructor prior to the first day of session.
Access to the course starts the first day of the course. Dates vary, please check the starting and ending dates in the list of courses.Distance learning at Midland College is planned learning that normally occurs in a different place from teaching and, as a result, requires special techniques of course design, special instructional techniques, special methods of communication by electronics and other technology, as well as special organizational and administrative arrangements.

Online Learning / Canvas
Online Courses (Web Based) are developed by individual instructors and provide complete course content through use of the Internet. Most online courses at Midland College are taught using the Canvas Learning Management System. Students will need to meet certain Hardware and Software System Requirements in order to use Canvas.
