1. The title of the book, “The Lovely Bones”, has a lot of strong and deep meaning behind it. In the story, a girl named Susie Salmon is raped and killed by a creepy neighbor who had been watching her for some time. The story then goes on to explain how her family coped with the hardships of losing her, which wasn’t easy because they loved her so much. Susie was actually a very loved person. Everyone she met fell in love with her. There are many themes in the book. One of the themes is love and acceptance. Love, because of all of the love Susie and her family and friends share with each other. The real reason for the love and acceptance was that even though the family and friends of Susie loved her, they had to accept the fact that she was not going to return, even if they wanted her to so bad. Moving on and going on with their lives was hard for them, which is something else that they had to accept. The lesson learned is that no matter how hard it is to let go of someone that dies, you have to move on or else you won’t be able to live a normal happy life again.
