Driving can be one of the most dangerous things to do. Some people aren’t affected by; accidents, but most people who are affected are scared to drive.
Driving causes 1.3 million accidents per year. That’s about 3287 deaths a day.
If you didn’t die, 20-50 million people become injured or disabled.
Most people who suffer from driving are young adults. So should we higher the driving age to 18 or 20?
As much as most young adults can’t wait to be behind the wheel, safety can be a real issue. Are the car crashes really worth it?
Car companies are trying to create a car that stops on its own when the person is about to crash, but not many companies are even trying yet. I think that this is a great idea, but I think all cars should naturally be given that ability.

Most people stay inside during bad weather, but some people don’t and can get in car crashes because of ice and rain. This isn’t anyone’s fault. Cars should be resistant to ice and slick roads.
If we can’t raise the age to drive, we need to raise the difficulty of the driving tests. Drivers should go longer through driving school before they are allowed on the open road.
The drivers should practice how to drive on the expressway and how to make quick stops to prevent accidents.
Drivers need to pay attention and not text and drive, which is a big problem. Texting and driving takes your eyes and attention off the road.
Drunk driving can cause accidents. Drinking can take your brain off of the road and delay your muscles when you are driving.
These three reasons are the main causes of accidents. Only irresponsible drivers make these mistakes. If you are responsible, then it is really just an accident.
You shouldn’t be scared to drive. We need to get new and updated technology to secure driving safety.
