Loyalty is a feeling of strong, developed allegiance and providing support for others and yourself no matter what the circumstance. “Romeo and Juliet” is an emotional and fictional play written by William Shakespeare about two star-crossed lovers, whose deaths restore peaceful relations between the Montagues and Capulets through loyalty. Romeo, the male protagonist, is the son of Montague and his wife. Juliet, the female protagonist, is the daughter of Capulet and his wife. Romeo and Juliet are part of two contrasting families who keep their love a secret, while remaining loyal to their family and each other. In my perspective, Shakespeare’s purpose to create such a tragedy was to express more feeling towards the central theme of loyalty. Mercutio,
