As a resent successful LPN graduate from NSCC with a keen career interest in disabilities and a sense of adventure, I was excited to see this opportunity posted recently on Career
Beacon (Job #4398NWT). While I am a trained in all the relevant areas in practical nursing, it has always been an interest of mine to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly young adults. Persons with disabilities need special individual care from competent and compassionate health care professionals. I believe that my credentials would be an excellent match for the position you are offering.
As you will note my enclosed resume, I maintained an 85% average during my diploma studies at Nova Scotia Community College, and had the opportunity to enhance my skills at several different facilities and had a wonderful experience working with outstanding professionals at different levels.
Throughout my studies and clinicals I have demonstrated competence in patient assessments, evaluating data and administering proper medication, I am a trustworthy independent worker and enjoy taking on new and challenging tasks while working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
