Life Resource Center Scavenger Hunt
The Life Resource Center (LRC) is a valuable free tool available to Associate Level students. Taking some time to explore this website to discover some of the many topics, resources, and tools available is a great way to find information to enhance health and wellness.
Login to the student website. Click on the Programs tab at the top of the page, and then on Life Resource Center under Services. Explore the resources available on the site and use them to answer the following questions. Remember to use complete, mechanically correct sentences for all answers.
1. What are the three ways that students may receive counseling services through the LRC?
If a student wanted to receive counseling services, he/she has a few options of how to request the service and utilize it. A student may call or use the online request appointment section to schedule an appointment. A student is able to talk to a counselor online, in person, or over the phone.
2. What heading are the Health Tools and Health Challenges found under?
The Health Tools and health Challenges are found under the heading “Thriving” on the Life Resource Center.
3. Where is the Assess Your Health tool located?
If a student was looking for the Assess Your Health tool on the Life Resource Center site, he/she would need to first go to the “Thriving” heading. After hovering or clicking on the heading, the Health Tools sub category should be selected. Once on the Health tools page, the Assess Your Health tool is on the right side of the page and when it is selected, a new page will open.
4. What are the five categories on the Live Healthy Page?
The five categories on the Live Healthy Page are How Healthy Are You, Lifestyle Change, Physical Fitness, Prevention and Screening, and Tips for Healthy Living.
5. Where can resources and articles about good nutrition be found on the LRC?
