Lucille Ball - a Role Model to All
There are so many role models throughout the world that are looked up to. We usually admire these people for their good deeds and personalities. We dream to meet them and to know what they are really like behind the scenes, off the field, or away from the microphone. We wonder about their journey to fame and how they came so respected.

The person I read about and is my all time idol is Lucille Ball. Now, I'm not about to go through where she was born and what she did in her life, but to explain what one of her most known personality traits was. Lucy was known as one of the best female comedians. Every show that Lucy was in, she was always making wise cracks and making people laugh. This trait is not found in everyone. It's a gift that a child is born with and Lucy was definitely born with it.

Lucille Ball was not only a comedian but a heroine as well. She was the leader of the show and was one of few females that were able to overcome the hardships of being a woman with no say in decisions. Lucy was always one to have her say in what goes. She was looked up to by so many young females and even males as a matter of fact.

Now, I'm not only supposed to talk about how great she was and what her best trait was, but to describe how I have her trait. I definitely know I have some sense of how to make people laugh since I'm always doing it. Whether it's a silly face, or a smart comment on the side, people always snicker or laugh. It usually makes me feel good when I put another smile on someone's face. I know I won't be as good as Lucy, but I do know that she must have felt pretty great when she saw how many smiles she put on all those young ones faces.

In conclusion, people have loads of different personality traits, some better then others. As we watch and learn about our heroes and heroines, we find out what they were all about and why they made the choices that they did to become heroic. It's not so much as a wonder anymore of why

The show’s leading couple, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz (native of Santiago de Cuba, Cube) had already been married for nearly ten years when they brought their idea to CBS for a “modern family” kind of show that was comedic, but also a portrayal of everyday life in the 50s. It was actually originally turned down by producers for being too “exogamous”. The culture then was still very segregated and conservative, and interracial couples were almost taboo. Desi, a man quite obviously of Cuban decent, was considered “too ethnic” for the channel to endorse.…

Norma Jeane Mortenson, also known as Marilyn Monroe, was and still is an icon because of her bravery and high self-esteem. She is so famous because she didn’t cover up her body, she embraced her curves and never hid them like most girls did back in the day “Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it’s better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.” Many women from her era weren’t as sexualized as she was and that made her more entertaining also. In 1962 Marilyn Monroe died at age 36. No one knows how she died, but 50 years later she is still an icon.…

Based on collective unconscious our personalities fit into many different types, but are not developed individually, they are more inherited. Each of them characters fit the criteria of their archetype. In Hamlet, Hamlet is the hero because he tried to prove that his uncle killed his father, and dies trying to kill his uncle to get his revenge. This shows he sacrificed something to save Denmark of a drunken awful ruler. Horatio is the son because Hamlet asks him for help and he decides to help him, without him Hamlet would question his sanity. King Claudius is the shadow because he killed the true king Hamlets father is a bad ruler to Denmark, married his mother, and is a man incapable of remorse. She was an interesting character because of how happy she stayed during hard times. For example, after her mother’s death Lucy returned to her normal self; singing songs and being cheerful (pg 136). This proves that she managed to stay positive even when she was crying on the inside. Especially after her father lost all hope, she still stayed happy and strong. What’s more,”Lucy and Gloria Jean held each other close as they sat transfixed in front of the radio, listening to the news” (pg 177). However, Lucy did not hate the Japanese because of the incident. She still loved Miss Kanagawa as much as before. Finally, Lucy had such a strong determination to stay happy, that not even a war could make her hate someone.…

The sitcoms main character, Lucy, was a woman who didn’t want to fit into the molds of the 1950s; she didn’t want to be a homemaker, disobeyed her husband, and Lucille Ball (the main character Lucy) even appeared on the show pregnant! All these things were virtually unheard of during that time period on television yet somehow the show managed to get away with them. I Love Lucy pushed societal boundaries with the first on screen interethnic relationship, something that was so taboo it almost cost them the show, yet it still managed to become one of the most popular television shows of the 50’s. By addressing issues in a light humorous manner, Lucille Ball and Dezi Arnez managed to both reflect the values of the time period and push entertainment and societal…

Another unique personality trait she possessed was empathy. While growing up her father had slaves, or as she referred to them servants, and during this time in America people looked down on African Americans, and many treated them like property.
