We learn this word “opportunity” early on even from the very first moments of our existence. We depend on our parents to teach us to walk. Our parents don’t just will us to walk though. They give us the opportunity to become better at what we do. Once we are successful they reward us with praise and love and give us the opportunity to learn the next thing, like potty training, feeding ourselves, and learning to ride a bike.
