Within the lymphatic system, there are many organs that form the structure of the whole lymphatic system within the body, and these organs are also structured depending on what their function is.
For example, an organ which is present within the lymphatic system is the lymph nodes. These lymph nodes are considered to be shaped similar to that of an oval and is roughly 1-2cm in size. Within the lymph nodes, there is a reticular network, which is able to help support the structure of the lymph node. It is structured so that the lymph is able to enter through the convex side, and then once the lymph fluid has done its job, it exits the concave side of the lymph node.
Another example of an organ that is present within the lymphatic system is the spleen. The spleen is structured so it is approximately 7cm in width and 14cm in length. Within the structure of the spleen, it has openings for both the lymphatic vessels and nerves. …show more content…
The structure of the lymph capillaries is that they can be considered a little bigger than blood capillaries, and where the lymph capillaries are strcutured by having closed ends, it allows the lymph fluid to only go through the capillary, and making sure that it cant come back out.
Another example of an organ that is found within the lymphatic system is lymphatic tissue. The lymphatic tissue structure depends on the tissue of the lymphatic organs. For example, the tonsils are soft tissue. The lymph tissues contain other cells which can help to support the tissue.
Lastly, another example of an organ that is found within the lymphatic system is the lymph fluid. The structure of this lymph fluid is that it is a clear liquid, which used to be interstitual fluid, which contains the bodies waste products, such as dead cells and carbon dioxide.
