Shares of the No. 1 social media company jumped $2.93, or 3.7%, to $81.37 Thursday. That’s a $1.2 billion gain for Zuckerberg, who owns 426.3 million shares. It just underscores why it’s so good to be Zuckerberg. The company and stock flourished under the CEO during his 30th year – rocketing 37.4%. No one benefitted more than the Zuck. Zuckerberg’s shares jumped $9.4 billion in value over the past year. This doesn’t even include the $610,455 he was paid last year for serving as CEO. That sure eases the pain of getting a year older (Krantz, 2015). In this current event I uncovered the reason why he mad a billion dollars on his birthday. This was due to his stock for his company facebook increasing. To be this successful you must have great management skills. I found a blog about his management techniques. Mark seems to be a interpersonal manager. He has weekly meetings with his staff very informal meetings. Mark makes sure his employees are happy. Facebook Company motivates the employees by offering them different sort of benefits, which can help employees balance their work with their personal lives. A few examples like, free food and transportation, paid vacation days, $4,000 for new parents, dry cleaning, day care reimbursement, photo processing and more. Moreover, if employees need unwind on the job, facilities are provided for them, where they can play video or tabletop games and more. Giving motivation to the employees is important to make them satisfied their job and so they will give the best (Krantz, 2015).
Mark believes in interpersonal management techniques. He likes to meet with his employees each week and sit and discuss new ideas. He believes in the five “P” passion, purpose, people, product and partnership (Krantz, 2015). His style
