I like this essay because smoking is a controversy topic. I like the way that the writer points out how popular culture, especially advertising promote smoking behavior. Obviously, message from tobacco advertising is powerful and dangerous since it could increase smoking behavior and negatively impact on human health. The writer also provides some solutions for people having nicotine addiction. Finally, some new information in the essay is new for me, and that create the interest for me while reading this essay.
2. Is the document formatted using MLA style?
Yes, the paper formatted in MLA formatting style. It was clearly represented in document settings such as 1-inch margins all around, 2.0 line heights, …show more content…
The essay need at least one and a half pages to meet the length requirement.
7. Is there a correctly-formatted works cited section?
There only one point that there is extra space between the last four sources; otherwise, the section of works cited is perfect. Works cited is centered. Text is doubled-space and, hanging indents were used.
8. Is there a persuasive conclusion?
The writer did summarize the thesis statement as well as all avenues that were discussed. I believe that the writer could make the conclusion more persuasive by providing more supporting details and connect them together to generally provide the overview of the main points of the discussion.
