The overall movie is a good adaptation of Macbeth, focusing on the action and visual aesthetic to appeal to younger viewers. The biggest positive to this movie is the smart adaptations that were applied. Personifying the witches as homeless woman is just a creative use the character. The war/guns use appeals much more to younger audiences and is significant to the movies success. Because the film is an adaptation of the play, its pace can be a bit skewed as it is adapted to main screen cinema. Much of the important detail may have to skipped over in a only 88 minute film. The actors themselves are quite competent are their acting and the overall movie is well done. Sean Pertwee's Macbeth was the downfall of the film. Because the interpretation of Macbeth was in such a different environment, Pertwee's Macbeth seemed too one dimensional, without range of emotion and pitch. Much of the "intensity" required by Macbeth was just non existent. Overall though the film was an good film with a creative adaption. The adaptation should have been more well thought out but other than that, it should receive a
