Macbeth's Lifelong Journey

In the story Macbeth, the protagonistic antihero Macbeth goes on a lifelong journey to succeed in his dreams which include: becoming king, killing Duncan, killing Malcolm, killing Banquo, and holding his position as king. For the most part, Macbeth does succeed in many of his goals and ambitions no matter how unorthodox his methods are, but eventually fails at his most important goal. Secondly, judging by the means of Macbeth’s death, he did not learn any lessons from his actions and dying because of it. Lastly, few people truly help Macbeth as he grows insane but many strive to do all in their power to hinder him. In conclusion, Macbeth failed at his dreams and what you could say was his lifelong apprenticeship.
