In "The Constitution of the United States of America," the preamble provides the purpose of the Constitution. The first part, "We the People," means everyone in America which is the audience and the author of the Constitution. "in Order to form a more perfect Union" is the purpose of the Constitution since it was created "in order to form" a union. To "establish Justice" means that the Constitution creates court system and the rules that help in running a fair judicial system. To "insure domestic Tranquility" means to make sure that America and the boarders of America is peaceful. These qualities include, military matters, praise-worthy qualities, qualities to be blamed, generosity, miserliness, cruelty and mercy, keeping of promises, and avoiding being hated. The first quality introduced by Machiavelli is the duty of prince on preparing military. This quality is important because if the prince is not willing to prepare a troop to protect himself and his country, he is showing the people that he does not care for his or his country's safety, which will cause a great concern to his people and lose their support on him. A prince should be concerned for his safety at all times since if he dies, there might not be another heir for the king to pass over his throne, which will result in change of royal-ship to another family. This change can bring both the original king's family and the country a chaos due to split loyalty to previous kings family and current kings family. Therefore, it is very important that the prince takes care of himself so that he can, one day, be able to follow into his father's footstep and lead his country. Furthermore, creating military troops to protect the country is also important since a great prince should always put his people first and listen to their needs instead of covering himself in wealth and unnecessary
