Macklemore Some Love Analysis

Same Love, Same Rights As humans, all we do is let someone solve our problems and not fight for our rights. Some of us have strong believes, but we don’t defend them, why should we?, there other people that can do want I can do,right?, if I help others, ten people will not. Sadly that is how most of us think. In Some Love by Macklemore, he says that people are born the same way that we can’t change what we are and in a sense he is making us create a will to fight for what is right, which in this case is homo and heterosexual equallity. The LGBTQ (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Questioning) is an organization that has of a purpose to rename the term gay as something that is not selfdregrading. This gay community helps those who are frame for spreadings AIDS, have suffered violence, seclussion, etc. Macklemore may not be part of such organization, but it shows little importance since this song was used for the Washington Referendum 74 in wich was in favor of legalized same sex marriages in Wahington.
Ben Haggerly’s style shows no use of metaphors but compensated by his realistic way of writting, as refered to telling a story and creating images in our heads.
