18. Who recommends that Sam apply to a magnet program at University High School? Why?…
(Compilation screenshot) - Insert here a screenshot of the result of compiling the above source code: NetBeans IDE 7.3.1 compiles but it did not go to the screen so I could see it, this is why I sent you a message yesterday to let you know this. But the program did run without any problems.…
Thank you for the response! I have heard from older nurses that doctors insisting on taking vitals are a habit which stemmed from when there was not as much focus on nurse education. Currently, there is a push for health care organizations to reach what is known as “Magnet Status” and one of those requirements is to have a certain percent of the nursing staff be RNs. Organizations that hire more well trained nurses do not have to worry about accomplishing basic tasks, so patient visits can be much more efficient.…
I am a senior at Conestoga High School in Berwyn, PA. One of the highlights of being a Conestoga senior is having the opportunity to participate in the internship program. Every year seniors are given time off from their regular school schedule to take an internship and enjoy the experience of having a job in the real world. The Internship runs from May 9th to June 3rd and is almost always unpaid. I am sending this to you with the goal of being taken on as an assistant in the Franklin Institute's Planetarium. Because I am interested in possibly pursuing a college major in physics or astrophysics, I would love the opportunity to learn, and pursue my passion alongside the professionals at the Franklin Institute.…
They must show proof of evidence based practice and the model the hospital uses to practice. The staffing ratio will be looked at even though it is not a…
Science is a very difficult field. Anatomy/Physiology, Biology and Chemistry are some of the general courses of a science major. Despite the hardship, I have always done the best work of which I am capable. Chemistry seems to be the…
I believe I am a good candidate for the Dual Enrollments’ Welding/ Fabrication program because I have the passion it takes, and the willingness to learn. I hope to use the Dual Enrollment to help kickstart my college career so that I can graduate with my Associates Degree in Welding/ Fabrication, so that I can start building my work experience.…
My interest in pharmacy school did not happen overnight, but it was a process of learning and discovering. At the age of 30 with a son, a family, and a full-time job, I decided to go back to school and do something entirely different from my previous degree*. Intrigued by the science behind medicine, fascinated by the mechanism of drugs, and motivated by the prestige and rewarding profession of a health care professional, I have chosen medical field to restart my career. I wanted to be a medical doctor, a dentist, or a pharmacist, so I majored in Chemistry.…
To me my backyard was a forest to discover and with a magnifying glass and my Rockhound Guide I would set off each day to discover something new. When I was in eight grade I made the wrong choice of picking a baking class, after the fist semester I transferred into an all boys robotics class. Where I quickly climbed to the top and created things like a dog who did seven different tricks to a classic battle bot that conquered everyones else’s robot. I fell in love with biology my freshman year and quickly gained a knack for organic chemistry. Then my sophomore year I took chemistry which I hope to take again my senior year as an AP course. Now that Im a junior and taking AP biology, I've found a liking in forensic biology and Im actually turn our lab into a real life mock crime scene where I will show fellow classmates how to run DNA in electrophoresis and test blood samples. Now if I were to get this internship it would make huge difference in my science career. First it would give me the hands on experience I want in a lab. It would also further my love for science, because I would hope to do research on DNA, specifically…
At first I experienced the initial reluctance that everyone faces when presented with a new, alien situation; however, I was also possessed with an intense curiosity. I knew that I was not the creative, artistic type. I did not have any idea of what electives I would take at the public high school nor did I care about the daily fashion of my peers. I realized that above all else that I desired to attend a school that would play to my strengths. So, I studied up, took the entrance exam, and was accepted. After I received the letter, my excitement did not cease until a few weeks into freshman year.…
I am in the gifted program and have been in the gifted program since fifth grade. I enjoy learning and I am completing Honors Physics online while attending high school.…
The Magnet Program is the right choice for me. Reasons for choosing this program is because of the challenge I love how the students are pushed to be their very best. Another reason is that of my future, I know this program will shape me into who I will become in the future. The last reason I choose this school is that of my aspirations.…
The two courses I have chosen are: Occupational Therapy and Computational Mathematics. I have chosen Occupational Therapy as will give the opportunity to learn within a small cohort which means there will be more support from my professors. It will also help me gain skills in problem solving and analysis, help me develop skills in teamwork and help me recognize the expanding types of work for occupational therapists. Also, I am interested in Occupational Therapy simply because I would love to make a profound difference in the lives of others if I pursue a career as an occupational therapist. Occupational therapy has a wide variety of options available. For example, I can choose to work in a variety of practice areas, work settings, and with people of all ages. I have chosen Computational Mathematics as one of my top two choices because I love maths. It has always been my favourite subject since I was a child. I think I will develop my passion for maths further by experimenting with computers. Also, I think Computational Mathematics will facilitate development of my skills through teamwork and individual projects.…
When I first went to visit Montclair I noticed something that I had not seen at many other campuses. The opportunity to be involved in many different clubs and sports is tremendous. I am also interested in the computer science program. Being able to grow up in a generation where computers and technology are growing more and more each day to assist human life really set an interest in me from a young age. It excited me to live in a generation like this where so many people’s hardships can be fixed with a skill that I can learn from attending a school like Montclair. Lastly, I believe the new building being built will give me an advantage of hands on learning in relation to my peers at other higher education institutions.…
My educational background relates to those preferences that i studied science stream program in my high school and I am really looking forward to study engineering.…
