In the text A Thinkers Guide to Fallacies Paul and Elder discuss the different types of persuasive audience one of them being uncritical, which they define as, “people are overly impressed by power, authority, and celebrity they will also allow someone to control or lead them as long as they make their perceived values seem correct.” That is why narrative ideology in politics is becoming such a problem it would be a mistake to generalize a candidates entire group of supporters, however the evidence of them taking on the uncritical identity is
compelling.
