I have heard people saying that the strongest support system in the whole world is family. For me this actually holds true. I was born in a wizard’s family on 8 Marchuary 1995. I have one annoying brother and one younger brother that’s always gets on my nerves. One basic fact about myself, i hate being forced to do something that i hate. For instance, family vacation.
My mum had planned this vacation for like a year and she couldn’t stop talking about Hawaii throughout this 13 months ~.~ i don’t know what is so special about that place except for my mum kept telling that Hawaii is the place where she met my father and fall in love and... huarghhh. Look im yawning already. Everytime she told this my brothers and i would make do-i-care face look.
So on their anniversary day, we fly to Hawaii and arrive there 45 minutes later. Hey, we are wizards family right ;D So we headed straight to the hotel and the hotel crew welcomed us with a warm smile  i realised one of the hotel boy is staring at me and i did replied his cute smile *winkwink. Then my parents decided to go straight to their room, while my siblings and i wanted to explore the hotel surroundings first. This is when he approach me and ask me to hang out with him. I felt like my heart was going to explode as i didn’t expect him to say that. I just smile, my voice wont come out. So i just nodded my head and whisper, sure :3 He offered himself to show where is my room but i refused. I am too nervous and embarrassed actually. When i was in my room, my mum asked me to get dresses as we are going to spent our time together snorkelling. But i refused and i tell her i wanna hang out with someone. And as i expect, she didn’t bother my willing.
Then I think of something. If only I can use spell on my mum to convince her to let me hang out with the cute hotel boy.... When I was about to swing my wizard wand, I get caught. And worse, i was grounded and forbidden to use magic. After a heated argument with my mum,

It was only this morning when mother came in and asked me the most random question ever. She asked me if I've ever thought about marriage but to be honest, I have never in my life even thought about it since I'm only thirteen. Thirteen may sound like a very young age however, it’s rather normal for someone my age to get married and even have children. Mother asked me that question simply because the ‘valiant’ Count Paris has taken interest in me. I'm not sure if I should feel happy or not but I promised my mother that I would attend the masquerade our family have organised later today to interact with Paris even though I didn’t really want to because I just can’t disobey the people who I most respect, my mother and father.…

Hawaii attracts many tourists per year because of its history, geography, and entertainment. This state is known for its many islands, volcanoes, and climate as well. When I think about Hawaii all I imagine is standing on the beach overlooking the ocean getting hit with the nice warm breeze hearing laughter and seeing smiles. Since “Hawaii is one of the most isolated places on Earth” it makes vacationing there completely stress and worry free, because you are far away from home and nothing on your mind but having a great vacation (Neri p.4).…

My family encompasses such a multitude of strengths, that it’s difficult to pinpoint which ones bring about the most positivity. Personally, I would argue that loyalty is the quintessential strength within my family. Each of us knows our family members will always look out for us and provide whatever they can to enhance our own sense of happiness. My family also spends gargantuan levels of time together. Without spending this quality time together, we’d have no way of furthering, strengthening, and maintaining our relationships with one another. If you’re not willing to take an interest in your family members lives and vice-versa, there’s no chance of establishing a strong relationship with one another. More specifically, within my family, I maintain relationships using different strengths with different members. For example, my mom has always shown the utmost respect towards honesty. No matter what I’ve done, as long as I’m honest with her, our relationship stays strong. My sister on…

Born in Honolulu ,Hawaii on the island of Oahu, I lived there for two and a half years. At almost three years old I moved to a small town in the San Joaquin Valley; Hanford, California. I've grown up in a nice home in a well located area in Hanford. But growing up in Hanford I know only what I have seen here and learned about from inside the community. I didn't know much about Hawaii besides being born there and that my grandparents live there. But years later in the summer of 2014, I took a trip to back to the islands of Hawaii.…

I live in a country full of rich resources. Our weather is like a bittersweet lotion that replenishes the skin. People from all over the world come to my land for these things called "vacations". Vacations bring in nothing but good memories, smiles, and family. A vacation is a fairytale here in Columbia. The beautiful landscapes are just a pinch of reality that are on the brochures, websites, and posters. Sometimes when I look at these Americanized pictures of Columbia I wish I was there. The true story of Columbia starts in the city of Bogata located in the mountains. I am a young girl. I will not disclose my name or age because what I'm about to tell you about my culture and land are hands on things my soul has been through; which may upset…

My family in particular has never known their limits, always thinking we can find a way around any obstacles ourselves, or do anything as long as we work hard enough. They have passed that ideology down to me. Without my family continually supporting me and giving up so much of their lives, my cousins and I would not be where we are at now, living the lives we live. They have given up so much for me, so I do the same for them, putting in an abundance of effort to make my family proud in order to make all of our dreams a reality. I can see my future straight ahead, and I will never give up until I reach it. Even though that vision has evolved and shifted with each passing year, I know the possibilities are endless as long as I work hard enough, and I will never give up until I reach the dream I have worked so hard…

The reason my family capital will keep me motivated and determined is because the way my mom and family pushed me in school to get my college degree. I have three younger siblings that keep me determined to doing my work and staying in school. My mother is a hard working mother. She would do anything for one of her kids as long as they are getting their education. My mother always took care of me since day one. She’s been my rock! I never had a male role model figure in my life to show me how its done or to show me how to grow into a mature young man. It was always my mother who stuck by my side and never gave up on me when I misbehaved. I always think to myself, how did she do it? Growing up as the second oldest it was me who took care of my younger siblings while my mother was at work and sister away in college. I always took on a lot of responsibility when it came to taking care of my siblings such as feeding them, dressing them and bathing them for school in the morning. My mom always instilled two things in my head as I was growing up, first was to be strong hearted and secondly independent so that I can become successful in life and accomplish each and every goal that I set for myself. Without family capital, I would not have the great support system to help me stay focused throughout my educational…

Being the youngest in my family, I would most of the time have to play alone because my siblings would go to school. I would play with him and talk to him.…

My first reason why family is important to my life is because they have always been there for me. Many of my peers succeed at certain sports or even various classes like English or Calculus. Although, I did struggle with my other activities and curriculum classes, family has always been there. Throughout middle school and high school, I competed with my friend for captain of the soccer team. I didn’t beat him until eighth grade when my hard work finally paid off. Because of this, I now realize how dedication and persistence can help someone achieve one’s goals. If I never decided to join the soccer team and compete for first captain, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to challenge myself and gain the skills and characteristics that would benefit me throughout the rest of my life, if it had not been for my family pushing me to excel.…
