INTRODUCTION:
Instilled from only an idea make my trip became the pioneer of the entire online travel industry in India. It has revolutionised over years creating customer satisfaction through its cutting edge technology. It aimed to offer a range of best-value products and services along with dedicated round-the-clock customer support. It offered customers the convenience of online booking of tickets at rock bottom prices. Make My Trip proactively began to diversify its product offering, adding a variety of online and offline products and services.
Products and services
Apart from air tickets MMYT also provides tickets for rail and bus including Volvo, air-conditioned, non air conditioned, deluxe, and semi-deluxe and sleeper class. Cab services are available at various locations helping in the convenience of the customers.
Hotels and holiday package are one of the most preferred offers by the customers. It provides domestic as well as international offers.
Travel agents have increased from 23,450 outlets in 2004 to 9,300 travel agents across more than 700 cities in 2010.
In 2014, make my trip launched the NEW American Express Make My Trip Credit Card offering exceptional savings and benefits for travellers and shoppers
With a first year fee of Rs 750, the American Express Make My Trip Credit Card offers MMYT vouchers worth Rs.9000 on joining, which can be redeemed across flights, hotels and holiday offers on MMYT. The Card also offers 5% cash back (up to Rs 3,000) on MMYT bookings, and additional MMYT vouchers of Rs.2000 and Rs.5000 on spending Rs.1.25 lacs and Rs. 2.5 lacs in a year, respectively. Powered by PAYBACK, the new Card makes spending more rewarding with up to 5 PAYPACK points for every Rs. 100 spent on all bookings at MMYT, 2 points for every Rs.100 spent elsewhere, and multiple PAYBACK Points on spending at over 50 PAYBACK partner brands.
It also provides value added service like a V free drop and pickup cab for its clients. It also offers
