A whole new person than he was before, he had to make certain adjustments to fit into the society and survive. He has become someone he would have never hung out with in the previous years, being a baseball star in his grade, along with A.J.. Destroying his previous identity, he had gone through hardships no one should experience in his age, for losing his identity and forced to create another an identity or path he would never have wanted before, is an excruciating experience for all of humanity. To lose himself, and not knowing what to do for even a brief moment, is a type of pain none would be able to understand fully. Although some parts do feel slightly sugar coated, since not everyone is able to find a new path for themselves so quickly, the readers can see how much arduousness he went through to create his identity. Most readers shall not be able to understand how much pain Peter has undergone, they will be able to understand his circumstances and what he had to go through. Furthermore, Peter had to deal with his grandfather’s Alzheimer's, a task that many will find arduous to handle, especially during the school…

Prometheus Bound opens with a dialogue between Might, servant of Zeus and Hephaestus, who Zeus has pained with inflicting his punishment for Prometheus. This dialogue sets the premise for the rest of the story. Zeus is the overseer of all events and a force to be reckoned with as consequence for actions that will never escape his watchful eye. Zeus is indirectly present and embodied in Might, a character in which "the command of Zeus has its perfect fulfillment." p. 65. He conflicts with Hephaestus, whom feels unable to "bind violently a God who is his kin." The quick succession of dialogue between the two characters is symbolic of a dispute between good (the bonds of brotherhood) and evil (torture and pain), giving Zeus, from the get-go , a condemnation for his actions. The idea of Zeus betraying his brother is further propagated when the Chorus exclaims that "there is no disease I spit on more than treachery." Prometheus "allied with Zeus" and helped him win the Titanomachy, without the help of Prometheus, Zeus would not have been able to exploit his power the way that he did towards Prometheus in the end. Zeus, uses his power to gain followers, additional power, then uses his might against those who support him. Treason, a capital crime has no consequence for Zeus and the extremely worse consequence for Prometheus. No matter how deserving Prometheus…

Crack! The sound of my bat hitting the ball echoed throughout the stadium. Dust went flying everywhere as I took off running towards first base. I dropped my head, concentrating only on putting one foot in front of the other as fast as I possibly could. Everything else seemed like a blur to me. I rounded first base, praying for my feet to move faster. Dust stung my eyes, but I couldn’t stop now.…

Middle school was really weird time for me. It seemed like it was the most dramatic / drama filled. Our school at St. Peters was messed up, anything that could happen did. I've had teacher come up to me and ask for answers to what happened. Students doing bad things and etc. Also middle school to me was so fun, because people who I like got in trouble because of me. If you weren't my friend at St. Peters you better hope that you weren't mean to me, because if you were the teachers would find out what you did and they get in trouble.…

My writing has changed a lot in my first-semester essay writing class. I finally took a class that teaches me useful information and how to properly write an essay. Essay Writing overall was a fun experience it was a slow start for me in the beginning but once I was able to get the work done I was fine. There were a lot of positives to taking this class. I started the year struggling to come up with ideas to write about nut now I can brainstorm and put my words down on the paper better than ever. “If I could travel anyplace in the world for free, I would want to go to North Korea. I would love to see what it's like.” I struggled with proper punctuation and the use of commas and such throughout my high school career and I still struggle with it I hope to learn more about it in the near future. “Cars are one of the best inventions ever.” I needed some direction on making my sentences longer with getting to the point at the same time. There's a lot of small things I need to still improve on but I feel like I got a good start with the Essay Writing course. I got a lot of useful feedback from Mrs.Pennings on all my essays like when to use certain words and proper punctuation and some compliments the really…

It was a perfectly normal Saturday night, until I sat on the couch. I expected to enjoy a funny movie with my dad, but instead I got a trip to the hospital. I sat on the couch, and then I felt a sting in my elbow. At first, it felt like I got a shot at the doctor, but it slowly got worse, and felt more like a knife slicing into my elbow. I winced and sprung up from the couch. I squinted and my eyes scanned the spot where I just sat down. Aha, I thought. There was a small piece of plastic, and it looked like it broke off from a container.…

Pop, pop, pop… Guns were shooting at me. Bullets were flying right at me. I am watching my friends drop to the ground like flies. Explosions were happening left and right. There can be major physical changes and effects to a female’s body after having a child. In 2011 when I had my son the hospital gave me an epidural for the pain; they did the shot too high up on my back. As far as anyone knew I was fine. I showed no signs of problems until after I got out of the hospital, when I started having back spasms due to the fact that the epidural was done incorrectly. The female body goes through many natural changes; it prepares itself to be capable of having a child naturally and being capable of breastfeeding babies. It can also cause other effects that are not necessarily normal changes to the female body, for me the two main changes that I had were being anemic and having a hyperthyroid. The doctors told me that I was anemic because I had lost too much blood during labor and that the hyperthyroid was a result of my body changing after having my son but that it was nothing to worry about.…
