Maki Monologue
It all started with a call, two plastic cups and a string that is attached to the bottom of the cups. Just by placing your ear on the plastic cup while the other person talks from the other side. It was simple and quite childish at the same time, seeing little kids pretending to call each other, but never really used one in her childhood.

While moving into her new apartment and settling into her room, a plastic cup with a string was neatly placed on a telephone holder. Wondering if the previous person who lives here had accidentally left this thing and forgot to bring it with them. Remembering that a purple hair female use to live in this apartment and was leaving with blond female.

She was never really socially or the one who started conversations. The only accomplishments that she would give herself is that having two friends from high school, or counting Nico as one of her friends as well.

Most people would try to talk to her, but she usually tried to ignore them. Maki thought, what's the point of making friends, since they might not talk again in the future. And yet she's letting Nico in her miniature social circle. How ironic.

Music. How long has it been since Maki wrote or even played music? During her high school years, she would always write music, but once she graduated everything had come to an end. Now the use-to-be-composer has to focus more on her medical school and then later owning the Nishikino Hospital. Numerous things had changed in these past months, for the good or for the worst.

Sitting up from her chair, Maki started to write song lyrics for old time's sake. Without her piano it was quite arduous for her to work, having multitudinous times of her tapping her pen on the desk. With many frustrating head scratching, groaning, and internally screaming on the inside; Maki finally finished her song lyrics, it was difficult since it was her first time writing lyrics.
