Making Lasagna
Lasagna is an Italian dish that is made by baking pasta with layers of sauce, cheese, meat, and fillings. It is easy to prepare and good for feeding large groups or small families.

For the first step of making lasagna you will need 4lbs of fresh ground beef and a large frying pan. Empty the ground beef into a pan, and cook on medium heat (continuously stirring) for 5 minutes. Then add ½ of a teaspoon of oregano and a dash of garlic powder to the meat and lower the heat to simmer until the pasta is ready.

After that you will need a 2lb box of lasagna pasta. While the ground beef is still simmering, bring 5 cups of water to a boil in a large pot. Then add the 2lbs of pasta to the boiling water and let it cook for 7 minutes, or until soft. After the pasta is done cooking all that is left to do is to drain it. Take an ordinary strainer and pour the pasta into it as to get rid of all the water, and then pour the pasta back into the pot.

For the last step an aluminum baking pan, tomato sauce, and ricotta, mozzarella, and cottage cheese will be needed. Layer the bottom of the pan as follows: tomato sauce, pasta, ricotta cheese, ground beef, light layers of cottage cheese, mozzarella, and tomato sauce. On the top of the last layer, only sprinkle mozzarella cheese. Place the pan in the oven covered, for 25 minutes on 350 degrees, and serve hot.

Lasagna is a simple Italian dish that is great for anyone,
