Making choices could affect you life's future a lot! Life is all about good or bad choices and you are the one who makes the decisions or choices. There are a lot of choices to make in life. You might make the wrong choices. You never know! Some people just like to make the good choices and getting rewards while others are making the bad choices and getting rewards or consequences. You always know what the right choice is.As some people say "Have a wonderful day or not ,the choice is yours. .Sometimes you might learn the lessons the hard way. But remember lessons will always be learned. There are many examples of good choices or bad choices. Some examples of good choices are following rules ,taking notes in class ,not eating in class , studying for a test, and paying attention in class. Some examples of bad choices are fighting ,cheating on a test ,talking in class without permission , playing in the classroom, and entering the classroom loudly.Remember you should do the right choice always. There are many things that affect the choices that we make, and one factor that plays into the choices that we make is Peer Pressure. There are times when people know that that is a bad choice but they still do the wrong choice. But there are times when people act on the right choice. That is called self awareness. So now you know what to expect from yourself. You are the one who makes the choices. It can be the right or wrong choice. If you make the right choice you get rewards ,if you don't you get consequences. If you do the wrong choice you will be left behind. No one is going to help you. Instead the will say the quote that Vince Lombardi said.He said that 'It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get up.'' After that it will be hard to get caught up.Living a great life in your childhood, will pay off in the long run.''Learn from the mistakes of today and have the vision to grow in precisions in the future ,you'll have better

I joined a fraternity the following year. After joining the fraternity I put even less thought into my future and I just wanted ti enjoy my college years and worry about it later on. Around the same time I was going through a rebellious teen phase at home with my mom and that proved too stressful all together. I slacked even more and, failed a class one semester. I would go to class and did just enough to get by without caring for the consequences. Well it all hit me at once my 4th year. I was already behind on credits and had to seriously think about my future. I looked at the summary of the past few years and I became extremely disappointed in myself for wasting so much time and not taking my education serious. I told myself that this is not how I wanted to live my life anymore. I took a step back during the summer vacation to reevaluate my actions and my life and try to change my priorities to get back on track. After doing a lot of thinking I changed a lot. I decided that I wanted to go back to school and get a restart on my grades and my college education but in a different major. As a consequence I would be in school for much longer but if in the end I would study what makes me happy and I would be more content…

With many different choices that we can take, we realize that some of the choices have effects on our lives throughout time. The downside of free will is the very choices we make. One small decision could affect everything later on. Sometimes people have to learn when enough is enough and it is time to give in. Make the right decisions are hard, but think of what would happen in the long run. Mary says, "Wes is already gone"(Moore 107). Wes has been arrested for shooting Ray and he has decided to not run and be corporative with the police and go peacefully. Mary cannot believe that he results to murder for his gang. The other Wes's decisions show that Wes made a choice to not run and that he needed to grow up and do what was right. By not running he is finally trying to do something right. His decisions help him with his prison time because he would only be charged with one fine, murder, instead of murder and resisting arrest. The decisions someone makes, big or small, can have a bigger affect on their…

Anthony Robbins once said “It’s in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped.” People make so many quick decisions unconsciously, whereas other decisions are lamented over. Society makes choices and creates opinions through deep mental thought which is influenced by preference, logic, feelings, and reflection. Some people may even question whether free will is a believable concept. Others believe it is all within our own power to make decisions that will lead to greater happiness. Little decisions lead to big consequences because when small and simple decisions are made, big decisions are to come, choices indicate character, and every decision made impacts other decisions.…

I can still remember the first couple incidents that happened to me that started to shift my path of life. On May 26, 2011 I graduated from high school. It was a day full of happiness, sadness, and anxiety. I planned on taking time off of school since I have been in it for about 12 years straight. I planned on taking lots of trips with my friends and just experiencing new things in the new world. I also knew that if I did go back right away I wouldn’t succeed to my full potential. I simply wasn’t ready. At my grad party, I got into an argument with my brother, because I was defending my cousin. It soon escalated into a full on brawl between me, my brother, my boyfriend at the time, my father, and some friends. I made my way from outside where everyone was yelling at each other into my room. My father stormed into my roomed, where he proceeded to keep yelling at me telling me how I always screw everything up and I felt so overwhelmed that I just wanted to leave. Every ounce of me tried to escape that mad house but he wouldn’t let me leave until the cops arrived. I packed up a few things and left to stay with my boyfriend. A couple of days later I went and got the…

I was the kind of guy who always strove in order to get the highest grades but yet hadn’t decided what to do in the future. I wasn’t worried, I knew someday I would find something in what I was good at. I got to live with that thought for some time until I got to attend middle school, where I stopped worrying about my grades and managed only to pass the subjects. I spent most of my time sleeping due to the frustration of not knowing what to do in the future. Most of my middle school experience was tasteless. I hadn’t friends at all, and teachers used to discourage their students about their future. “You're not going to college, you’ll not be able to do it because you’re poor” used to say, Mrs. Vazquez, the math teacher who instead of giving her class, talked on how much his son had accomplished in college and how we would not be able to attend. That was about to change.…

When I was in high school I wasn't a very good student, I didn't really apply myself to anything. I had no dreams of going to college or doing anything special with my life. No one had ever encouraged me to do anything better than I was or to try harder. My parents were not college graduates, they both worked full time jobs and had to raise four kids. I knew there wasn't enough money to send me to college, and my guidance counselor never explained financial aid to me. I graduated, got a job and worked one dead end job after another, until I got married and started a family. I spent the next fifteen years raising my son and daughter and encouraging them to continue their education after high school. About a year ago my husband decided he wanted a divorce, and I was left wondering ;"What am I going to do now?" Since graduation I have always regretted not going to college, I have always wanted to work with children, either as a counselor or in social work. My parents suggested that I should go back to school. I applied at Ashford University. I have always thought of myself as a failure, but I'm not scared of failing anymore, I am however afraid of letting myself down for not trying hard enough, and for me that just isn't good enough anymore. I want more for myself and I want to look in the mirror everyday and be proud of who I see. I know that if I apply myself and stay focused and motivated that I will achieve my goals to graudate and pursue my dreams.…

Making decisions can affect a person’s life for better or for worse. Most people will decide whether to eat something or not, but most teenagers today will decide whether to complete their homework or not. Daily decisions consist of what a person will eat, who that person will talk to, where they decide to go, and the list could go on. Mark Twain, a famous writer, expresses decision making with the story Huckleberry Finn. In the story Huckleberry Finn, Huck Finn, a thirteen year old boy, makes decisions for himself, like refusing to have his money, traveling with his new friend Jim, and whether to stay with his new “friends” the King and Duke.…
