MALAYSIA AIRLINES CODE OF ETHICS

Introduction
Malaysia Airlines introduces the Code of Ethics as a guide in understanding the principles of conduct and ensuring basic compliance with the law. The Code provides general principles and specific guidelines applicable to business conduct. Having a Code of Ethics in place will help to ensure that while striving for excellence, the company maintains best practice standards at all times.
The Code forms part of Malaysia Airlines Corporate Policy Framework that contains statements of policies relating to the Malaysia Airlines’ business conduct on ethical issues that one may encounter in conducting the Company’s business.
Objective
The objective of the Code of Ethics is to outline clearly forms of conduct deemed to be acceptable or unacceptable business practices at Malaysia Airlines. The code is to ensure the employees and all representatives of Malaysia Airlines adhere to one standard code.
Applicability
The Code of Ethics applies to all Malaysia Airlines Board of Directors, Malaysia Airlines employees and Malaysia Airlines Representatives including agents, consultants, vendors, independent contractors and suppliers of Malaysia Airlines and its Group of Companies (including local & foreign subsidiaries)
