Malcolm X, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. reached high points in their life, with some help from family members and mentors who gave them courage for what they accomplished. When Malcolm X was in prison, for dealing drugs and stealing he went totally downhill, while he was in prison he learned a lot from his inmate. Martin Luther King Jr., and Malcolm X accomplished so many amazing things in there lives. However, they also had many times when they felt like they wanted to give up or doubted themselves. Malcolm X’s brother came and visited him when he was in prison, and told him that he joined a islam group, called “Nation of Islam”. He told him about it and Malcolm decided to join, Malcolm did very well there, after many years he disobeyed the leader's rule. After, Malcolm went home in Omaha, he wanted to somehow help out with the Civil Rights movement. He went to go give a talk in New York, “When Malcolm walked into the ballroom and greeted the audience, four armed men stood up, raised guns, and fired at him. Malcolm fell back on stage.” (Malcolm X Biography) While Malcolm was lying he was already dead before the ambulance came. He was fired with 16 bullets into his body, the men who shot Malcolm, were all members of “The Nation of Islam”. Only 3 of them got found, and were punished for the murder of Malcolm X. After Malcolm X passed, many people didn't think he achieved a lot in his life, I believe he did because even though maybe he didn't get to do everything he wanted to do in his life, like help out with the Civil Rights Movement, he still accomplished many things. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X, have both gone through catastrophic disasters within violence. People who were willing to protest sometimes got stabbed, wounded, fractured in many different places on there bodies. These violent actions also occurred with King and X, but they were still brave to go back out there and protest even more, and do whatever they had to do.Malcolm now, knew he was in danger because he said bad things about the leader of “Nation of Islam”, Elijah Muhammad. Malcolm kept gettying death threats from him and he knew that he was probably going to get killed soon. Malcolm didn’t want this to happen to his family, and he was worried for his wife. “Malcolm felt he was in more danger than ever before. Soon he began receiving death threats… When his home was firebombed he knew his death was near.” (Malcolm X Biography). Malcolm is very nervous right now, since he know his death is somewhere happening very soon, he is even more worried because what if he gets shot when he wakes up in the morning. Malcolm life is very unpredictable because he doesn't know what is happening and when. When Malcolm gets a threat he doesn't let the threat get to him, he just goes on with his day and is not worried about what if he gets shot.
