Profile Essay Mama Mea’s Pizza and more is family owned and operated by Boo and Brandy Beechem. The service and food are both outstanding. From the amazing hand tossed pizza too the delicious wings. Price range from 3.00-33.00 dollars depending on what you get. One item on the menu the Big Reb is the most expensive pizza because it feeds 8-10 people, and that is the only time you will spend more than 10.00 dollars on food. “The best thing to get at Mama Mea’s is of course the pizza and the boneless Garlic Parmesan wings.” When you walk into Mama Mea’s you already get and awesome vibe from the smiling faces ready to seat you. “When you walk into Mama Mea’s you already know that the service
is going to be great because of the smiling faces and the young ladies already ready to help assist you.” The young waitress at Mama Mea’s care a lot about the people who walk through the door and are ready to serve and make you feel like you’re at home. The waitress are dressed in Khakis and Black shirts and presentation is all around wonderful. Mama Mea’s cares a lot about the customers that come in and always make sure they are getting the best service so they offer daily specials. When you walk in you there is a main dining are with two flat screen TV’s and 2 small flat screen’s the TV’s play sports events all day. On the walls there are also pictures and news articles of Dover, TN. You are allowed to sit wherever you would like and have a chose between booths or tables. Mama Mea’s is a sports bar and a family dining so in separate room there is a bar. “Having the TV’s that play game events really brings in a lot of customers on Sundays because it’s the only place in Dover that you can eat in, drink beer and watch football.” At Mama Mea’s we serve beer and offer a separate dining area which is the bar. When seated in the bar you don’t have to be 21 anyone is welcome to sit in the bar. In the bar there is a big flat screen TV that offers sporting events and you are welcome to ask to watch your favorite team. When seated in the bar you can sit at the actual bar or you can sit at the table. The decorations in the bar are different sport team decorations. Mama Mea’s offers eat-in, pick-up and delivery. The hours of operation are Sunday-Thursday 11a.m to 9p.m and Friday-Saturday 11a.m to 10p.m. They stay open later if there are people that walk in and would like to order food. Delivery orders stop at 8:30 due to the time we close. The next time you are in Dover, TN I would make a chance to stop by Mama Mea’s. The wonderful locals would be happy to show you the way just right next to the visitor’s center. Working at Mama Mea’s has given me the great opportunity to get to know the locals of Dover. Mama Mea’s is all around great and Brandy and Boo always make an effort to come out and talk to the people that are in the restaurant which makes the people that come in feel very welcome and makes them want to come back and eat because they feel closer to the people who own the restaurant. So come on to Mama Mea’s and try all the great things it offers.
