ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

First of all I want to thank God Almighty for giving us strength in making this project. All of our accomplishments so far could not be achieved if Lord our God is not on our side.

The special thank goes to our helpful instructor, Miss Lira Revilla for the supervision and support that she gave us. She is a big help for the progression and smoothness of our case study.

Our grateful thanks also go to Mr. Kristofferson Santillan for letting us stay in his house. All of our time and effort would be nothing without the generosity and understanding from you. Besides, this case study makes me realized the value of working together as a team and as a new experience in working environment, which challenges us every minute. The whole case study really brought us together to appreciate the true value of friendship and respect of each other.

We would also like to thank our loving mothers and fathers – Mr.Violan, Mrs Ronda, Mrs Santillan for trusting us, it is a big help for us. And of course we would also like to thank the rest of our family for providing our needs, water, food, shelter and energy. This case study will be a successful one.

The article The Karen People also discusses the rings that are worn around the necks of the women of the Karen tribe. The article discusses the many myths surrounding the rings worn by these women. One common myth discussed within the article is that a woman’s neck become longer as a result of wearing these rings. However, if the rings were to elongate a woman’s neck, the woman would likely become paralyzed or could potentially die. Instead, the rings act as an illusion of a longer neck by covering the woman’s collarbones and causing people to imagine them as a part of the woman’s neck. The reasons as to why the Karen people wear these neck rings, however, remain a debate. The article was the most difficult to identify bias from. It appeared…
