HISTORY OF THE COMPANY
The Most Holy Rosary Multi-purpose Cooperative formerly known as Most Holy Rosary Credit Cooperative was organized in January 02, 1985 for the purpose of engaging in activities as a credit cooperative under Presidential Decree NO.175 and Letter of Implementation NO.23. It was registration with the Bureau of Agricultural Cooperative Development as a full-fledge credit cooperative with the Certificate of Registration NO. R-IV-FF-302 dated August 15, 1985. Its registration was confirmed by the Cooperative Development Authority on March 02, 1991 with Certificate of Confirmation NO. 544. Latest amendment of its Article of Cooperative and By-Laws was approved by CDA on April 19, 2005. The Cooperative membership is limited to its area of operation as stated in its articles of incorporation and by-laws. The cooperative was amended on September 09, 2011 by the Cooperative Development Authority. The Cooperative’s new name was granted the CDA Reg. NO. 9520-04000084 on September 29, 2009 Under the RA 9520, the cooperative is exempt from payment of income and sales taxes, provided that a substantial portion of its net income is returned to members in the form of interest and or patronage refunds.
