Nightlife in Maple Ridge
Male Ridge is quickly developing into a unique city that offers a diverse, wonderful lifestyle. Maple Ridge’s location – nestled between Golden Ears Provincial Park and the Fraser River provides its residents with a plethora of outdoor activities and choices while careful city planning and development give the city a nice selection of amenities and culture. As the city is growing, so too are its choices for activities once the sun has gone down. Here is a brief list of some of the nightlife options available in Maple Ridge.

The Public House is located in the historic Haney Hotel which is often seen as the gateway to downtown Maple Ridge. The Billy Miner Alehouse and Café is located in historic Haney and is situated in one of the oldest buildings in the city. The Billy Miner Alehouse gets its name from the infamous train robber – Billy Miner. Billy Miner rode the rails located just outside the pub and you can still experience the trains that come and go while enjoying a drink in the Billy Miner Alehouse.
The building itself also has a storied history and once was a bank. It has withstood multiple fires and is still a precious gem to the city of Maple Ridge. The building has undergone a few different restorations and is now recognized as a Heritage building and is protected in the provinces Heritage Act.
