Majority of the men wore hats and had sunglasses on. The Caucasian men also seemed to be in their Sunday attire and the same for the women. In addition, everyone appeared to be in a family and stayed huddled in groups. As to where the African Americans seemed to be with family and friends who were brave enough to attend the event. I related the way they were dressed to how people of my generation dress today, although there are things that are completely different like the style of hats, people now a day’s wear baseball caps or snap back caps. Moreover, the only time you would see a young man wear dress shoes would be at church or to a formal event. Men generally who are in high school or college wear gym shoes such as Nike, Jordan’s or Adidas. When it came down to the women’s clothing in the video they had on long skirts and dresses, some also had on little hats and even gloves. Comparing this to how women dresses today is completely different. Women of my generation tend to lean more towards nudity and promiscuous attire like short, tight skirts or dresses and cleavage. Women in the video appeared more focused on inner beauty than appearance although I am sure that there were women back then who were concerned about their looks they had a bigger representation of going after what you want in
