Mariah's Case Study Martin

After reading the Mariah's case I feel that one of the key components for Martin to do is to establish a goof rapport between herself and Mariah. Martin can do this by making sure that she has a created a safe and comfortable environment for Mariah. Mariah is 18 and pregnant so we have to make sure that nothing will stress her out because stress will cause harm to her unborn child. She can do this by showing Mariah that is trustworthy. It does not say in the text, but Mariah may find it difficult to trust Martin because she was abused by her step-father and the unborn's father is in jail and she has no contact with him.
