The things i need to think about when doing my evaluation form. Was it done right how should have it been done and is it up to standard. I learned lots when completing the evaluation form. For example i learned what i did wrong what i was want to do and how i could have done it better. My group work very well together we did our part of the assignment and when we were finished we help others in our group better understand the work. We discuss what part of the assignment we were going to do. But when it came to picking so Milne knew what we where doing we had to pick for the ones that weren’t there. Moesha volunteered to work on the poster. Which we let her and the poster turned out well. Every one did there fair share of the

Our team only had one problem and that was when Jake did the wrong thing, but after the teacher told him how he was doing it wrong he was back on the wright track. Our team supported the other member so we all knew what we were doing. We also approached the work in a positive way. Like i said we worked very well as a group we all did our own part plus bit extra for some people. For example Moesha did the poster, me and cam help Jake with his work so he could understand it better. Some of the advantages when working as a team is you don’t have to do all the work your self the other members of your team can help you do the work. Some of the disadvantages is you don’t know what the others in you group are doing on there subject unless you read there work and that takes time you could spend on your work. I haven’t learned much about working as a

When it comes to teamwork, most people will consider teamwork in terms of being part of a baseball, basketball, or football team. In contrast, a team is “really just a group of people who use their skills, experience, and knowledge to work toward a common goal” (Beverly K. Bachel, 2007). Teams working together in the workplace are extremely productive and profitable. Teams working together increase problem-solving skills and innovation, quality, and decrease turnover and absenteeism. (Scarnati, J 2006) Teams have an overall high success rate when well structured and the communication between the team members stays open throughout the project. A team is a collection of individuals who have gathered to achieve the same…

One advantage is when working in a team everyone’s strength and expertise can be utilized and responsibility can be distributed. (Goodman, 2015) Typically, teams are formed by the expertise of each person that is need to get the job done. As the world famous Michael Jordan quotes, “Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.” Another advantage according to Frost (2015), the sense of security and support a team creates may encourage employees to take more risks. Sometimes when working on a team project, that extra boost or knowledge transfer from other team members can lead to relationships that would benefit the team. When you have multiple people working on a project, this allows for many checks and balances to catch any mistakes or missing information that later can hurt the company. (Frost, 2015) Many customers and business partners may find it easier to communicate with a team rather than a number of individuals working in isolation. (Nordmeyer, n.d.) When working on a proposal the government would like to have one document from the company which means a member from each department needs to work together to deliver a final product that represents the company. If individuals were to put together the proposal document it runs the risk of not being well put together and not what the customer…

I walked onto Pendleton East 3rd floor, off of the elevator. Straight down the hallway is where I spent four weeks of my summer, in room 351. 20 minutes early, I walk into my Sharks in Media class and sat down on the desk chair in the far right corner. Soon after, the class started and we dove into the history of Sharks in print media. We looked at news stories on the board, watched clips of cool sharks, and listen to Professor Jocelyne Dolce talk about the side effects of shark attacks. I’ve never learned about Sharks or had a passion for them but after that class I did. After my Sharks and Media writing class, I saw sharks in a more humane way. Sharks are such terrifying yet amazing creatures, like humans they make mistakes and humans can…

The dynamics of this team were amazing, it was the easiest and smoothest flowing team I’ve been on. Team morale started high and stayed high throughout, not one team member left the team or became disengaged, none of us felt burned out, despite that the length of the project was quite long and the workload was on top of our day-to-day work. When brainstorming, they all added input and I didn’t feel like any one team member was left out or did not have their voice heard. It was really successful, not just the end result or the deliverables at the end of the day, the process itself and the way in which we arrived at the outcome was fantastic. Having said that, we didn’t quite meet our goals because they were set quite steep. Regardless, I would still consider it a successful endeavour. What’s more, I would venture that if I asked the rest of the team the same question I would receive the same answer. I have since never been on a team like that.…

Teamwork is often perceived as a positive element in the workplace or academic classroom because it allows members of the group to have the opportunity to share ideas, divide the workload and learn how to work with others. Instead of overwhelming one individual with a substantial project, a team can accomplish tasks by delegating, dividing and sharing responsibilities. As a result, members of the team may feel as if the workload is more balanced, the project is more diverse and the result is much more creative. Team members working in a group are also forced to interact with one another and come to a consensus regarding decisions that affect the project. This teaches others to recognize strengths and weaknesses within team members, identify personality traits within themselves and others, and design strategies to boost the morale of the group . Working in a team forces members to think beyond their own personal preferences and work for the good of the entire team.…
