Economic systems meet the needs of their people by determining what to produce, how to produce it, and who will buy it. Capitalism gives the people the freedom to make their own choices in what to do produce and so forth. On the other hand, a communist economy guarantees certain necessities for the people, such as jobs, food, clothing, and shelter, but the people have little/no choice in what kind. Though these two economic systems are run differently, the government in each will step to fill in the missing pieces of the people’s needs if absolutely necessary.…

Recently, over this summer there has been hundreds of children who have illegally entered the United States from Central and South America. They snuck here because a lot of their parents sent them here in search of a much safer life with more opportunity ahead of them instead of being under a gruesome government control over in there home country. I believe they should be sent back to their country because, these kids could potentially be a liar and or a threat to our countries safety, and it is unconstitutional to make exceptions for anyone that doesn’t abide by the law, especially if they’re not a United States citizen, that entered the U.S illegally.…

Throughout the history of time and even mythological stories and fairy tales, people have always seemed to want more than want they have. They have never been able to satisfy their unlimited wants for money, power, or even just materialistic items. This greediness has and always will be the downfall of many wealthy and powerful individuals. No matter how advanced we are in society, people will always find a way to question what they have and not appreciate what they have. One question has always been asked after studying these downfalls. Why are people never satisfied with what they have? Well since we are generalizing humans I will do so as well, obviously at the individual level things are completely different but generally, this is my stance on the insatiability of human wants. We as humans obviously from way back when have always wanted more. More food, more water, more money; it is just how we have become as a species. The same with bigger buildings, more sophisticated cars, if anything technology would be great for this. Compared to lets say our technology during the space race, we have a come an extraordinarily long way as a species from that point in time. If we were to ever stop this wanting so to speak then we would be contempt with ourselves and wouldn’t stride for anything more. This just isn't who we are. I don't…

The command economy is directed by centralized government control; a market economy is guided by an informal system of prices and profits in which most decisions are made by private individuals and firms. All societies have different combinations of command and market; all societies are mixed economies.…
