Introduction

The aim of the report is to present qualitative research methods used to appreciate people’s opinion regarding Ferrero Rocher chocolate and a possible new product which may be recommended: dark cube Ferrero Rocher chocolate.
Ferrero Rocher was founded in 1942 by Italian Pietro Ferrero. Chocolate represents a combination of cream surrounding a whole hazelnut within a delicate crisp wafer, all encircled in milk chocolate with finely chopped hazelnuts. Brand becomes known for its gold foil wrapper, it denotes high quality and premium packaging (Ferrero Rocher, 2014).

Ferrero produces a huge range of internationally known products as Raffaello, Nutella and all versions of Kinder but the research is focused just on Ferrero Rocher product.

Research involves the use of different techniques of interviewing. In actual research I compared two sorts of research: individual face-to-face interviews and online interview.

Research Method Comparison
First research method I used was depth interview.

See's was able to grow steadily from that first shop in Los Angeles to twelve shops by the mid-1920's and thirty shops during the depression. By 1936, See's was able to expand to San Francisco. For generations See's famous old time candies are well known and loved throughout the West. During this time, Piera and Pietro Ferrero were able to turn a small bar and pastry shop into a factory. These early and decisive steps are due to the products, in fact, "invented" by Pietro Ferrero, but also to the efficient sales network organized by his brother Giovanni. In 1950, in fact, Ferrero had its own and efficient distribution network with a fleet of vans that, in a few years, exceeded a thousand units and was able to deliver to shopkeepers fresh and perfect products. In the mid-fifties, the company began to exceed the national dimension to acquire a European one. In 1956, Ferrero opened a plant in Germany in Allendorf (about 150 km from Frankfurt), which would represent the first example of the internationalization of Italian industry in the confectionery sector. Ferrero began working with one product (the Cremalba) followed by the start of production of the Mon Cheri, that immediately gained significant market success.…
