Research Plan: Vending Machines

As we conducted our research on what people want most out of vending machines, the first we did was research the most popular type of vending machine. There are many types of vending machines but the most popular vending machine is the machine that vends Drinks/Snacks. This machine provides a variety of drinks, chips, cookies, candy, and gum. Other types of vending machines include: Cold & Frozen items, Bulk machines, Coffee/Tea, Office supplies, DVDs/Games, Crane machines, Lottery tickets, Medicine, and Toiletries. Cold & Frozen vending machines include: Ice cream, pies, and other frozen items. This machine usually accepts coins, cash, and major credit cards. Bulk machines include: Candies, prizes, chocolates, and gumballs and these machines only accept coins. Coffee/Tea machines have different varieties of coffee and tea and accepts cash, coins, and credit cards. Office supplies machines provide all types of pens, pencils, paper, desk accessories, and even stamps. This machine also accepts cash, coins, and credit cards. DVD/Game machines like RedBox rent out DVDs/Games for a low cost on a nightly rate and only accepts credit cards. Crane machines offer toys to be won by you controlling a metal claw to grab toys as a prize. These machines accept cash and coins and soon will be accepting credit cards. Lottery ticket machines provide lottery tickets, mainly scratch-offs and only accept cash and coins. Medicine machines only offer the basic medicines such as, Aspirin, Pepto-Bismol, Tums, etc. These machines accept cash and coins for right now but credit cards will be accepted soon. Toiletry machines provide all sorts of bathroom/personal items that include shaving cream, combs, toothbrushes, deodorant, laundry accessories, mouthwash etc. These machines accept cash, coins, and credit cards. Purchasing items in a vending machine is becoming easier and easier. Before coins were used to purchase all items but today,
