Love has been a popular theme in every form of media for centuries. Shakespeare, The Beatles, even deadbeat rappers make references to making love somehow. And all this time it has been glorified and put on this pedestal, that makes it seem like it will last forever, this is very far from the truth. I believe that said glorification and overuse of the idea of “love” has given people in today’s society the wrong idea. The fourth and final point will be the fact that love doesn’t last forever, this doesn’t mean that it’s the end of the world, but a mere chapter in a very large book. Hundreds of romantic movies are created every year, all these are the same story being told on end, and we still eat them up year after year. Hollywood shoves this ridiculous idea of love down our throats and we love it. Because deep down in our being we know that this is complete fiction, the love you see in those movies would be impossible to re-create, simply because human beings are not meant to have only one partner for their entire lives. It is proven by science that approximately only 3 to 5 percent of mammals are monogamous, humans not included. But it is not like this was a recent thing, ever since man first discovered than women love romantic lies it has been put to good use. In the comedy
