It’s called the hydroponic system! With this, we don’t even need soil. But wait, where will we get the water from. Well, here is another topic I needed to research about. In my research, I found out that the soil on Mars contains water, and that is a very useful piece of information for us. Our first idea is that we could bake the soil, and get the water from the soil, but this idea will require technology that hasn’t been invented yet. But then, we had another key point about water on Mars. During the night hours on Mars, humidity will reach a 100%, providing moist air in the atmosphere. This is when things started turning our way. Our idea to get water on Mars, is to use the atmosphere. This is also where my blueprint comes in. My idea is to create a water generator and to use it on the atmosphere. I first will have an electrostatic filter on the right part of the generator, and at the left part will be a fan. The fan will be drawing in moist air through the filter, and in the center of the generator will be a electrically heated coil. Using that coil, the coil will warm up the moist air and start condensing the air into water droplets. We are warming up the air because the temperatures outside are around -80 degrees
