Martin Luther King John F Kennedy Analysis

Martin Luther King Jr. (1929-1968) and John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) were heroes in the era that they shared. These two men gave speeches that forever altered America. These two men were both heroes and champions of their time. A hero is someone who is admired or idealized for courage (Webster). These men were known for their courage and sympathetic attributes, but also for their powerful, strong, yet stern speeches (Jones). The speeches these men gave stole the hearts of the citizens of America with words that spoke about a superior place full of various races, cultures, and traditions (Jones). Martin Luther King and John F Kennedy both wanted change to transpire and to establish peace across America and elaborated so through their speeches on different topics. Both of these speeches, although similar in nature, have many differences including the style with which they were written, the image they each desired
Few speakers are as well remembered as Martin Luther King Jr. and President John F. Kennedy. What makes King and Kennedy so unique and exclusive are the ways in which they are to able inspire their audiences. These unique individuals had many similarities. John F. Kennedy called the discrimination against minorities of men, women, and children a moral crisis. Martin Luther King Jr. also wanted the reality of equality for all of God's children because he saw this world as a nightmare from the devil but also as a lesson from God to have faith and trust in him.
