Time passes, events happen and soon they are forgotten, but some people leave permanent marks on history and the life of others. People who leave marks are said to be famous. These people have the courage to dream, change the lives of others, and have the capacity to accept the new and escape the old. One such person is Martin Luther King, Jr. born Michael King, Jr. in January 15, 1929, Luther switched his name to Martin. He attended public schools divided along racial lines in Georgia, graduated from high school aged 15, and obtained a B.A. degree from Morehouse College in 1948.
