Martin Luther King Jr's View Of Justice

Character is the mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual. Martin Luther King Jr. once said “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character”. What would happen in the world if people were judged by what is on the inside and not what you see? People would have to take the time to get to know people before they could conclude anything about them, and maybe if compassion was the driving force in the world, people would be more accepting and loving. Instead of labeling people, the world would be a much better place if we approached others with compassion and a sense of justice about their character and not how they physically look.
If that is looked at from a standpoint of justice and compassion it seems unfair. It seems wrong for a person to decide how they feel about a person in 7 seconds. When I think of justice I think of how justice is supposed to be blind. Justice is supposed to see people without labels or stereotypes so that they aren’t judged before they are known. The idea that as a world if everyone worked together that we would see the true hearts and characters of people is incredible. And not just the good characters in the world, if people looked past what they saw they would be able to identify the bad characters that hurt the world too. It would be a new way of looking at stopping all of the terrible things in the world, but what if it
