during his reign. People viewed him as a invincible leader who possessed no fear what so ever. But as he slowly starts to lose his power, every bit of his bravery and confidence collapse. Certainly he is unable to handle the pressure of the Soviets march towards Germany. The once great figure leaves his loyal figures in despair by committing suicide. Such an act by Hitler has caused confusion in the definition of a man. Obviously Hitler wasn’t a man promising his country back it’s pride, but end up leaving the millions he promised in betrayal.
When looking at a true “man” like Martin Luther King Jr., he does what it takes to become a man. During the 20th century in Northern America, the civil rights movement is considered one of the most world changing movements. At the time of 1954 when racism was at its peak, all African Americans were segregated in terms of rights and view. Many were afraid to defend their rights as African Americans. Dr. King undeniably one of the most prominent African American civil rights leader eventually stepped up for his people’s rights. He fought day and night through discrimination, ambushes, and protests in order to attain equality in society. In the end he risks his own life for the African American society to gain its equality in America.
As simple as one can call his or herself a man is truly easy. But to actually be a true “man” requires the brave and fearless act that many do not possess. To endure such pain during difficult times to create a better for others as for the case of Dr. King, shall deserve to be called man. A man is like a hero, one doesn’t give up and keeps fighting.
